Autism Assessment
Our Autism Assessment process adheres to NICE guidelines and NHS standards. It is conducted by a multidisciplinary team of professionals with many years of experience in neurodevelopmental assessment. This service is currently only available to those aged between 12-18 years of age.
The process includes:
Completion of an initial needs-based assessment.
Screening questionnaires.
Liaison with key caregivers such as a teacher at school that knows the child or young person well.
In-person completion of the standardised ADOS-II assessment (duration 90 minutes).
3Di parent interview (a structured set of questions which can be carried out virtually).
By taking into account the different settings in which the individual may find themselves and interviewing key players in their life, we are able to build a comprehensive picture of their situation.
Details:
Step one involves booking an in-person ADOS assessment for the young person, in London. This is followed by an interview assessment with parents or guardians attended online. Finally, all parties come together for a virtual feedback session.
Once this process is complete, a detailed individualised report will be sent out.
Costs:
Autism assessment appointments cost £650 per appointment. Full assessments comprise three appointments totalling £1,950.
Appointment duration: 60-90 minutes each.
